The response is very quick and sensible to small changes of strength and direction. Takes some time to get used to it if you haven't used something like this before. I still like it for my offence.

I ordered it as advance version of Xiom Vega X. I found it a little harder comparing to Hexer Duro on BH.
Sometimes using to FH when game changing is required.
Large throw angle, so trying to adjust cut and push.
Good for close table block, close push, counter and backhand shots.
Getting slightly difficult to place extreme backhand ball by chopping it from mid distance.
But it's only 5 days I am playing with it, so I will come over this difficulty by practice.
Trying to do BH open and loop and trying to place pushes close to net (sharp push) as going little high but will manage as go on practicing.
It is a medium hard rubber and has nice control.

Affordable version of latest modern tt rubber generation. The performance is pretty the top-end rubbers that are much more expensive. Durability is very good - it doesn't rely on factory-applied booster. Recently, the experience with Aurus Prime made furious (it kept its initial characteristics for only about 10 training sessions after which it lost speed and spin significantly), but it is not going to happen with Vega X.

It had been a long journey to find a suitable rubber for my superfast butterfly Primorac carbon. I had tried many rubbers from various brands such as dhs hurricane 3, 8, 8.80 , yinhe big dipper, friendship battle 2, xiom europe, donic bluefire m2. None of these felt great on the blade. They were either too soft like xiom or too hard like the Chinese rubbers.
When I tried Xiom Vega, I said OK ... This is what I need to pair my blade with... The rubber just felt so good. The hardness of the sponge matches the hinoki surface in terms of feeling and dwelling. The control is great, blocking is breeze and counter loop is just something that you want to do all the times. Xiom Vega X is the right rubber to tame the beast with. Bare in mind that even with this rubber, the set up is still very fast. But again, you'll get much more confidence with your shots than what someone normally struggles with other rubbers. If you've got Primorac carbon and you're looking for a grippy, dwelly and long-lasting tensor rubber, then you can't go wrong with Xiom Vega X.
My journey with rubber search ends here, and now a harder work on my technical aspects of my game must be made and that will be next.

For the cost this is unbeatable. Not the fastest, not the spinneyest..but more than good enough at both for someone like me starting out at the sport needing solid gear that's not beyond my wallet or abilities.

This rubber is a really good forehand rubber for intermediate players. I find myself extremely insensitive to using my forehand and utilizing my backhand most of the time. Though, this rubber has been propelled by technique and confidence in using my forehand, especially considering how it's quite good in terms of control, and helps you hit the ball with your own power.

It also has quite a bit of spin that adds to the goodness of the rubber. Definitely would recommend this rubber for a forehander, as it helped me get out of my comfort zone of only using backhand.

It is quite heavy and hard rubber. Good grip, high throw angle. For me, it is the best rubber in the Vega series because it has better spin, speed, and control but vega X is less spinny and slower than Fastarc G-1, MX-P, Tenergy.
